Who We Treat
Families come to Paradigm from all parts of the United States and abroad. Our program is designed to insure that every family has an opportunity to fully participate in all aspects of treatment, regardless of their geographic location.
The young people who come to us for treatment are generally described as really good kids, who simply have an issue that they need help with. Those issues may include depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, substance abuse, addiction, eating disorders and any number of behavioral and mental health concerns.
Our mental Health program is designed to meet the needs of adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety or any number of complex mental and emotional health issues.
Our Teen Drug Treatment program is designed specifically to address the emotional underpinnings of addiction.
Our Adolescent Treatment Program is about much more than simple behavior modification.
Our adolescent eating disorder program is designed to treat issues ranging from anorexia nervosa to bulimia nervosa, binge eating and body dimorphic disorders.
A good number of young people who come to us for treatment are gifted students, artists, musicians or performers.
Experience has taught us that young athletes are often times less likely to seek treatment for any number of reasons.
Many of the adolescents that come to us for treatment are struggling with unresolved grief issues.
A co-occurring disorder is sometimes referred to as co-morbidity or a dual diagnosis. The application of any of these labels suggests that a teen is being treated for more than a single issue.
