Paradigm Malibu Participates in Health and Wellness Summit
Paradigm Malibu was invited to participate in the 2016 Robb Report Health and Wellness Summit, held July 14-17 at The Montage Deer Valley in Park City, Utah. The Wellness Summit identifies national and international leaders in the athletic, wellness and health communities to create a world-class event that featured Paradigm Malibu, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, UCLA Health and Johns Hopkins Medicine as key presenters for the 4-day event.
The Summit’s morning session featured Paradigm Co-Founder and Executive Director Dr. Jeff Nalin, along with Olympic Swimmer Marcus Rogan and baseball player Luke Salas, both of whom work with adolescents in Paradigm’s Young Athlete program. The topic was Managing Stress like an Olympic Athlete: Training Secrets of Elite Champions. The riveting session featured an hour long session including a ‘question and answer’opportunity from the engaged audience. Later in the afternoon, a swim session was hosted, challenging those in attendance with a mental exercise used by Paradigm athletes every day: Aquatic-based Anxiety and Stress Relief. The immensely popular session was held again on Saturday for Wellness Summit attendees that did not have the opportunity to participate on Friday.
Leading up to the Health and Wellness Summit, The Robb Report leaned heavily on Paradigm’s clinical leadership to provide wellness content, such as tips on mood management and anxiety. Post-conference articles continue to provide education on stress and anxiety management and each of our sessions will be featured in video format in the coming weeks.
“We were proud to be asked to partner with The Robb Report and present alongside such prestigious and cutting-edge research and practitioners during The Robb Report’s Health and Wellness Summit” said co-found and CEO Cole Rucker.
