Kathryn Nuñez obtained her Master’s of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialty in Drama Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She also holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Critical Psychology. She has served as an individual and group therapist to adolescents in a San Francisco area inpatient hospital and to those struggling to heal from life-threatening illness. She is an experienced facilitator who incorporates classical theater techniques with elements of identity and community building into her sessions to bring healing, emotional intelligence, empathy, and grounding to her clients. Kathryn believes in the inherent value and intrinsic goodness of every human and she is committed to helping teens navigate towards seeing, feeling, and owning their value so they can find meaning and mindful connection in their lives.
