Jeremy Ragster | Paradigm Malibu

Jeremy Ragster graduated with honors from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology, with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy. While earning his Master’s degree, he worked with elder clients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other neurocognitive disorders. Prior to joining Paradigm, Jeremy worked with adolescents in several different capacities and has come to greatly appreciate and enjoy the specific ways in which working with this population is unique from others.  In approaching work with adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues, he places strong value on teens’desire for their stories and truths to be heard, and therefore, focuses on creating a productive and positive environment in which teens can explore those truths.  Jeremy draws upon numerous therapeutic modalities but often operates from a Cognitive-Behavioral and Narrative approach, in order to provide teens with the opportunity and responsibility to enact the positive change they want to create in their lives, while also giving necessary structure and support.
