Emily Armour graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and from Walden University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Prior to her time at Paradigm, Emily served as an individual and group therapist for at-risk adolescents and their families. She specializes in working with teens struggling with depression, anxiety, other emotional health issues and addiction. She also served young people in a community outpatient program. Emily has training in the use of Dialectical Behavior Therapy and utilizes an integrative, holistic, and strengths based approach to meet the needs of Paradigm clients. She lives an active lifestyle and loves to integrate hiking, sports, animals, and the outdoors into therapeutic sessions.
