Darren Hummel | Paradigm Malibu

Darren Hummel received both his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Antioch University, in Los Angeles. Prior to joining Paradigm’s team, he served as an Educational Counselor for a non-profit organization which supports adolescents suffering from drug and alcohol abuse. In this role, Darren was committed to helping teens break free from addiction, increase self-esteem, and discover how to live healthy and full lives.

Darren also worked in higher education,counseling students andhelping students become academically prepared and equipped to succeed in their college education.  In this capacity, he worked with teens from an array of different backgrounds and enjoyed helping them grow as students and as people, in order to reach their goals.

Darren enjoys literature, philosophy, sports, and comedy, and when clinically appropriate, incorporates the benefits of these activities in the therapeutic process when possible.
