Ashley Richter, originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Communications with a concentration in French. Because of her interest in adolescence and family relations, she continued her education and received a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Psychology, with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family, from Pepperdine University. Her therapeutic experience includes providing school-based, individual therapy for teens struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma as well as group therapy, including groups with the UCLA PEERs Clinic, where she led evidence-based, relational skills groups for teens with social challenges.
Ashley utilizes a mindful, strengths-based, relational approach to create safe, inviting, and open therapeutic spaces that promote communication and trust. She is passionate about helping teens connect with their inner selves in order to work through issues, create positive change, and re/build relationships.
