Alex Guerra graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology. He has previously worked running support groups for LGBTQ+ youth at a treatment facility and has previous experience working with survivors of sexual assault. As a transgender man, Alex is passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community and helping teens navigate their own identities and self-discovery. Alex loves being outdoors and his favorite pastimes include fishing, kayaking, and camping. He has also played competitive team sports since he was a kid and believes it can be an extremely important way for teens to foster healthy relationships with others and learn problem solving skills.
