On Friday, June 2nd, Paradigm Malibu teamed up with Dr. Louise Stanger to host a movie screening for the Just Keep Livin’ Foundation at the entertainment and talent industry leader Creative Arts Association Movie Studio in Los Angeles. The featured event brought students from four of the schools supported by the foundation as well as a number of teachers and leadership who enjoyed the documentary Screenagers as well as the discussion around digital dependence. The two hour event provided thought provoking conversation including topics such as computer and tablet use, texting while driving, identifying problematic signs of dependence on screen usage and social media. The Just Keep Livin’ Foundation was started by Matthew and Camila McConaughey and is dedicated “to empowering high school students by providing them with the tools to lead active lives and make healthy choices for a better future”.
