Paradigm Treatment Centers is delighted to announce that we have been invited to participate in the 5th Global Mental Health Summit. This year’s event is taking place in Johannesburg, South Africa from February 8-9. The Summit has met bi-annually since 2009, ranging from locations such as Athens to Mumbai.
The Global Mental Health Summit consists of professionals who strive to bring to the forefront conversations and policies regarding the need for mental health services. The aim of the Summit is to lay out intervention and policy targets for world wide mental health efforts.
The topics at the Summit will draw from panels on the provision of services to “vulnerable” and under served groups, working to ensure safe mental health and well being for infants, toddlers, and children, and empowering youth to reach Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Regarding the event Dr. Jeff Nalin, Co-founder of Paradigm Treatment Centers states “We are always pleased to have any opportunity to participate in any event that will enhance the quality and availability of mental health services for adolescents any place in the world. The Global Mental Health Summit is a special opportunity to do just that.”
